Can anyone give me a listing of the states that will not issue licenses to EC graduates?

I know California is one;others have restrictions and/or hoops to jump through. Do a search, this has been discussed alot before.

Re: Excelsior Graduate Rejections

Illinois will not initially issue a license, but will offer reciprocity to an EC grad if s/he has been licensed in another state for at least two years.
As of January 2008 Maryland no longer recognizes EC.
I believe Florida, Colorado, Georgia and Washington state have certain restrictions or additional requirements, but I'm not sure what specifically. Try looking at old posts under the Distance Learning forum.

Re: Excelsior Graduate Rejections

I believe texas requires externship which EC includes for that state. The best thing would be to call them at 1-888-647-2388 for recent info. I got grandfathered in when change took place in calif.
