Help! - Emergency and critical care textbook?

Dear Colleagues

I am looking for an emergency and critical care textbook, a book which combines these two nursing specialties.
- Can you recommend a book?

With greetings from Iceland
Thorsteinn Jonsson, RN, MS

Re: Emergency and critical care textbook?

I like Brady Critical Care Paramedic. It is not a nursing specific text; however, many emergency and critical care subjects are covered to include invasive lines and hemodynamics. The only things missing are the annoying lists of nursing diagnoses at the end of the chapters.

Re: Emergency and critical care textbook?

Try the American professional associations web sites for literature:
www.ena.org has alot of references for sale.(emergency nursing)

www.aacn.com also has many references for acute/critical care.

Good luck.
