Need Information - Core Measures?

I'm curious, I'm putting together bulletin boards in our hallways and lounge, and I'd like to know: how do some of you celebrate or at least acknowledge your core measures to the rest of the staff, like pneumonia follow up, heart failure education given, you know, the stuff of paperwork legends? Any ideas?

By the way, since I've got several big ugly bulletin boards, I'm wondering what some of you have in yours. Trying to get away from the mundane.

Thanks, again.

Re: Core Measures?

The Quality Director shares the numbers with supervisors who then take it to staff meetings.

Re: Core Measures?

oops. I am the supervisor. I'm trying to present stuff to the staff in a fun way, but with stuff like core measures it's boring. Hence the bulletin boards. The blank bulletin boards, waiting for great ideas.

We actually have a color printed and laminated form/poster that is kept in all the charts and also posted up that have the core measures on them. We got our poster ideas from medqic.org, just go click on hospitals, and on the left you will see all the measures, you can click on each one and each wil have tools and other things to help you. I don't remember the exact links to the posters but you can just search around on the site, hope this helps!
