Appearance at work

When you work, what is your average appearance? Do you wear a lot of make up? Minimal? Hair styled or cut low key or thrown into a pony tail, etc. Usually I try to style my hair somewhat in a cute up do, some makeup such as a little eyeliner and foundation/lip balm but nothing too much.

Re: Appearance at work

That pretty much sums it up for me. Light amount of makeup with lip gloss but I don't lipstick. I just feel better about myself with a light amount. I have curly hair so to do something with that would take way too much time but I do dry and curl my bangs. I usually have my hair up in a clip. I know some of the foundation can wear off so I just use the mineral makeup and it's not caked on and looks more natural.

The new mineral foundation they have now is wonderful! Looks very natural. The only kind I wear. I couldn't imagine wrestling with a sponge and liquid everyday.

Re: Appearance at work

I never got the hang of makeup and never wore it due to my job not being conducive to makeup and not having the time to mess with it. I think I'm doing good enough if my face is clean. Although, after some cosmetic surgery which I'm contemplating, I just might make the effort to use some of the mineral stuff. It looks so natural.

Re: Appearance at work

I wear mascara and lipstick. It's usually gone by the end of my shift though. I have longer hair that I keep up in a pony tail while I'm at work. I like to present a crisp and clean appearance. I think I do.

Re: Appearance at work

I wear a bit of light foundation or powder and put my hair in a pony tail. I've never really understood why people come all made up looking like they trying to snag a date, lol.

No makeup, no fussing with the hair. Just rinse under the faucet, towel, pick it out and go. I would rather sleep that extra 10 minutes than fuss with makeup and hair.

Re: Appearance at work

I do the full but not overdone makeup. It is good for my morale to look good. My hair is usually pushed back by a headband or tied back. I wear properly fitting coordinated scrubs; hospital scrubs do not come in petite or extra small. Comfortable sneakers go on last and I am ready for work.

Re: Appearance at work

I have short hair so I can either style it conservative or a little punked.

I never wear make-up, haven't since junior year when I realized I hated it.

I often wear very small cubic zirconia studs because they are sparkly ( I make sure they have very secure backs and check them often) and my engagement ring.

Clean, tidy scrubs in an array of styles and colors.

Solid Crocs, color flexibility to match my scrubs, however I NEVER wear the ones with the holes. Something about having holes in my shoes when pts projectile vomit on them seems wrong to me.
