I was just offered a job in a very busy University hospital SICU. I am very nervous about this considering, I am a new grad and have not cared for patients at this aquity level. Any advice for a newbie like myself?

I started the same way. My best advice is: don't get all caught up in the hype. Yes, it's a lot to learn but it's very do-able. People will seem to remind you all the time of how it's going to be so hard for you. That's true, but it's really a distraction. Busy inner-city ICUs hire new grads all the time and it seems that about 80-90% of them make it. Odds are good you will too! Remember that.
