used it in the past and wouldn't use it again because you can never tell if gas is just gas!

Alli may be OTC, but it's still Xenical...and gas is rarely just gas when taking Xenical!

Using it currently and finding it successful as a serious deterent for NOT eating junk all night at work (cause i don't want any wardrobe malfunctions!).... as with any thing, you must read, research and follow the directions meticulously. I am liking the results of a lowfat diet, I have always been a runner and now, health issues, am using a treadclimber for exercise.

Good luck!!!

Hi! I just purchased some actually at Costco with the intent of using it. Got it home and started reading the package inserts and found out that if you have gallbladder issues you should not use it, makes sense with the fat issues, but it also says if you are on thyroid meds that it may interfere with the absorption of your meds. My husband was also interested in taking it and his physician said no because he has crohn's. It seems like if you have any issue which you take daily medicine for you should definitely check with your physician prior to use because it can mess up the absorption of the meds! Hope this helps! Take care and God bless!!

I have been on it for a week, no side effects. I took xenical a few years ago with minimal effects, unless of course i ingested too much fat.

Hmmmmmmmm..........for some reason, the possibility of experiencing an "oily discharge" or "anal seepage" doesn't do much for me, so I'd have to say NO to Alli. Yeeecccccccccchhhhhhhh.

I was thinking about it because it's half the price of Meridia, but I just started a home health job. "Oily spotting" and "loose stools that may be uncontrollable" do not go hand in hand with driving all over the county! I'll pay for the Meridia. It works, and once I adjusted to it the insomnia stopped.
