Agencies or hospital

Is it better to start off in a hospital setting, such as ER or start off with the agency setting?

Re: Agencies or hospital

If you are a new grad, a reputable agency will not hire you without a year or two of hospital experience.

Re: Agencies or hospital

I'd definitely recommend starting off in a hospital. Agency nurses typically receive a minimal orientation, are expected to function independently once on the job. Best to have some experience under your belt before trying agency nursing. Good luck!
