1st time poster here...looking for some advice. I will be moving to St. George UT by the end of the summer. I have always had an interest in med spa's and aesthetic nursing, but have no skin experience. I have looked into several different cosmetology schools etc to learn skin care, but it seems very expensive and not completely necessary.
I have heard that you can get hands on training at med spa's but not sure if that is in fact true.
Does anyone know if the dermatology nurses association would have some ceu's or something to get me started?
Anybody else here do this? I would love any and all advice you have. I welcome any info about St. George as well.
