hello to all, i just want to share my own compositions of mnemonics while studying for my incoming nclex-rn exam. hope they could help. good luck.
HYPONATREMIA
P-ersonality changes/headache
A-bdominal cramping/diarrhea
I-ncrease urine output
D-iminished deep tendon reflexes

HYPERCALCEMIA
C-onstipation
H-ypoactive bowel sounds
A-bdominal distention/absent or diminished deep tendon reflexes
M-uscle weakness
P-eripheral pulses, fall

HYPOKALEMIA
W-eak peripheral pulse
A-nxiety
T-ready pulse
C-onstipation/confusion
H-ypoactive bowel sound
