Graduate Degree Programs

Hello everyone...

I'd just like to ask what master's degree programs a BSN graduate could opt to take? Would it just be limited to MN, MSN or MAN? What other MSc?

I want to be a nurse scientist someday doing research and work in a laboratory solving problems related to infectious disease nursing...

Thanks.

Raymund

Re: Graduate Degree Programs

Have you looked into public health? You can get an MPH, DrPH in epidemiology and various kinds of environmental and laboratory sciences that pertain to disease. Check out your local universities for public health. Many schools of nursing have joint master's degrees with public health programs.

Re: Graduate Degree Programs

I've not yet looked into public health. I'll try to see if there are universities offering such programs. Epidemiology and laboratory science sounds great...

Thank you.
