I will be working as a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator for a medical group in a few weeks. I would like to prepare for my job. Does anyone know of valuable professional or informational web sources that are applicable to this role? I would particularly like to know if there are any professional U.S. organizations specifically for people with this title. I will not be doing "nursing research", but rather assisting with medical research trials.

Start learning and reading about the FDA, GCP, ICH, HHS. There are many regulations and resources available. I would begin with human subject protection, Institutional Review Boards, CDER and US Code Title 21 and the Public Health Service Act Title 42. Attached are some links I hope you will find useful. The physicians and sponsors you work with will appreciate your research and preparation.
