working in the UK

Hi there,
I will be graduating with a BScN from a Canadian university in less than a year. I am interested in working in Scotland for a while when I graduate. I have no idea where to start when inquiring about this. I was wondering if I need to write an exam to work in the UK or if they even accept canadian trained nurses. Anyone have any advice?
Thanks
