I am in the UK, and have just contacted my local polica station and have been told they won't do them, and they certainly won't sign the certificate as they don't know me, so where on earth else can i get fingerprints done?

Sometimes worth ringing around some will, I was fortunate dh had some training as he was in the specials. I think scotland yard do it but there is a fee and means a trail into London. Try ringing a few police training centres also

Hi Suzanne,
Where are you up to in your process? Just thinking you might be a bit premature with having the fingerprints done. Also, if you're going through Florida BON you won't need them, I've been here 9 months and never had fingerprints done, nobody ever asked for them

I really hope i don't have to go to London to get this done, that is a major holiday for me from scotland and not practical either

Well, I don't know what to say or what to suggest to help you as I never had to get them done. I guess the rules have changed? Are you still going to Florida?
