Hi! I just passed my IELTS exam last May, just wanted to know what should I do next. I took my CGFNS exam Nov. of last year. Should I send the original result from IELTS to CGFNS or a photocopy would be enough? I'm kinda clueless on the next step for my certification and visascreen. Hope anyone could be of help.
You should have listed CGFNS as a recipient of your scores on the English exam. They can only accept the results directly from the exam, never accepted from you.
Thread moved to the International forum as it is specific to working in the US.
I picked up my IELTS result last wed. june4 and it was addressed to my IELTS review center. Do i have to request the British Council to send a copy to CGFNS? Or what should I do?
Hi pxgs. I would like to say congratulations for passing the IELTS. A step closer to your US dream.
It wouldnt be possible for you yourself to send the TRF to CGFNS as they wont accept that. They will only honor the TRF that comes directly from the IELTS administering center. But nothing to worry about, just go to the administering center ( British Council/IDP Australia) and request them to send a copy of your TRF to the CGFNS.
Dont worry, everything would be fine, the most important thing is you cleared the IELTS.
