What Eglish test does Canada require?

I know that Canadian immigration for skilled worker requires IELTS (general training branch) and took it last month and got 8-7.5-7.5-7.5. But then I heard that in order to sit for CNRE you need to take the academic branch of the same test, am I right about it? Will my scores still work then???
Thanks!

Which province are you applying to? It should say something on their website. Moving this to the International forum as per the red banner requesting immigration working in Canada be asked there

Re: What Eglish test does Canada require?

For any country that has requirements of the English exam and they use IELTS, the requirement is for the academic branch for all of them.

You are going to need to complete the acaademic branch to meet their requirements.
