hi,
my VSC application was lodged on the 11th April(receipt date with CGFNS).
i've attempted to look up my status online, but there's nothing on my account. i called the automated 24hr phone number(i'm from Australia) and have some questions about what was stated.
Basically... i'm just seeing if all my universities and regsitering bodies have sent off their paperwork and whether it has reached CGFNS. As i have been to 3 universities and have been registered with 5 BON in 3 countires, this can prove difficult to track down!
the automated service stated that i had 15 outstanding items. also stated
Licensing validation form is 'awaiting to be received ', however it then says that my Licensing validation form 'meets all program requirements". it then goes on to say the exact same responses for the Transcript validation form. my NXLEX has been rec'd and accepted with the final response stating that they are 'awaiting approval'.
so what does this all mean? are they still awaiting some of my transcipts and licensing forms? if so, from whom?how do i find this out given that there is nothing loaded on my online account???
any help would be appreciated. obviously not expecting it to be ready yet, had planned for August at best, but just want to see if i need to hound my universities or licensing bodies to hurry up and submit my paperwork!
thanks.

Re: Vsc -

The best way will be to call your BON/schools and ask if they sent the stuff. CGFNS are pretty useless and I could never get an answer as to what was on file and what wasn't. I did find the online thing updated occasionally though.

Takes on average 4 months to be issues VSC as long as everything was sent in an orderly fashion.

It takes on average about four months to get the file completed and this is when there is only one or two schools as well as one country. When you are adding in more to the pile, then expect it to take longer.

You are only at the two month mark as of now. Please just give it sometime, they are unable to do anything until they have received all documentation.

Re: Vsc -

thanks for the replies. i understand the process takes at least 4 mths... but in order to reduce wait time, i was just enquiring as to what the best method was of finding out if CGFNS has all the requested transcripts and license verifications forms from my uni's and registering bodies. considering there's nothing on my online account after 10 weeks, guess i'll just call them, no doubt be placed on hold for a good 1/2 hr and then ask.

It takes two weeks for them to even have anything added to your account once it is received in the mail, your file is not updated the day that they receive it either.

Unless you are planning to come here with the E3 visa, then there really is no rush due to the retrogression. It is otherwise not needed until you have your interview with the US Embassy.
