Help! - Visascreen Application

I'm applying for a visa screen online and I accidentally placed my professional information on the post graduate secondary school information. Now it has been saved and I cannot delete the data saved. How can I change my information?

Re: Visascreen Application

Moved your thread to the International Forum where it is more appropriate.
------------------------
This is why we always tell everyone to use the paper application for this product. One mistake and it is going to take time to correct it, you cannot do it on-line, but will have to contact CGFNS/ICHP and send them the appropriate documentation.

One click and you cannot go back to fix anything and it can take months to get it straightened out. But would do it this way and not just try to register again, or you could actually be charged two fees by them.

Or notify them to cancel that application, but do that and get a response before doing anything further with them.

Re: Visascreen Application

Thanks, I did that already. I inputted the correct information in my application, I just asked them to disregard the data in the secondary post graduate information so that they will not get confused.

Then this means that you set up a new application and this is what you were not supposed to do. You are unable to change anything on the application if you do it on-line. Submitting a new form can cause you to have to pay for both of them. You are going to need to cancel the first application in its entirety, not just ask them to disregard the information that you have changed.

They do not work that way, and you may find that you will be charged two times. Told you what you neede to do. And you did not follow it.

Think of this way: You buy a dress but decide after getting it home that you do not like it. You go and buy another dress, but do not return the first, this is similar to what you are doing, you will be charged for both dresses until one is returned. And making the change means that you have purchased two items from them and have not returned the first.

Re: Visascreen Application

Oh no,I actually didn't finish the application after what happened. I asked a friend of mine to help me complete my application on line, I inputted the correct information under the professional education. He told me to just email the cgfns to disregard the information.

Actually I just got a letter from the cgfns telling me that the wrong information inputted will hold no bearing so long as I'll be able to give them the required papers.

Re: Visascreen Application

Because you contacted them and they were made aware of this. Otherwise, you could be considered as having two applications with them and this is again the reason why I never recommend filing the on-line application with them. One wrong number in a date, can delay one for months and months and we have all seen it happen.

Hello Angelar. How long did it take for the CGFNS to respond to your e-mail? I also have a somewhat similar problem with online application having been assigned two CGFNS order #.
