Re: Visa Screen Certificate / CGFNS

Thanks Lawrence01 for the quick reply. Well, I will follow your advise on passing IELTS first before applying for VSC.

I did not waive my June 2006 license so i still have the same license number. So i guess, a cover letter's fine.

Again my sincerest thanks!!!

God bless!!

Just an add-on to what Lawrence said for those who waived their June 2006 licenses:

Aside from the usual license verification being sent by PRC to CGFNS, CGFNS also requires a letter confirming that you passed the June 2007 NLE. You can secure one from the State Board Verification Counter and the Registration Division/Customer Service.

Thank you very much for the info.

I have a question though.

I'm also a second courser. That is I'm both physical therapy and nursing graduate. I'd like to ask if I'm needed to indicate in the NON-PROFESSION RELATED COURSE that i finished PT. If yes, do I still need to request the school where I finished PT to send another TOR even if my subjects (in PT) are already included in the school where I graduated nursing from.

Thank you very much.

You are applying for a Visa Screen Certificate, so anything having to do with any health care field must be included, as well as from the licensing board for physical therapists as well. If the courses are listed on the one transcript, they do not need to be sent again, but the school must be listed on all of your documentation and then just include that the transcripts are on the one TOR.

And PT is not non-profession related, it is directly related to health care and also requires a VSC if you wish to work in that field in the US. You do not want to leave one thing off from your application, all must have the same information on them, including your application for licensure, etc.

Hope that this helps.

Re: Visa Screen Certificate / CGFNS

Hello Suzanne I wanted to ask you about VSC. Do I need to apply for this certificate if I already have a green card? Thank you Dima.

Re: Visa Screen Certificate / CGFNS

You do not need a Visa Screen Certificate if you already hold a green card, it is only required for those that are applying for a visa to work in the US as an RN, or other health care specialties.

We always recommend full course for CES as can be used if looking at further education at a later date
