United Staffing Solutions Inc.

Hello everyone! I've been interviewed today by this agency called the USSI whereas their CEO and their Lawyer was present: I'd like to ask, has anyone here who's also been interviewed? What are your thoughts about it? I have checked their website and I think they have good offers. However, I'd still would like to hear anyone's opinions about it. Any advices would also be appreciated. Thank you very much.

Re: United Staffing Solutions Inc.

I have been given a contract (which is by the way, a "template contract" - that means it's given to all prospective nurses regardless of qualifications and experience) by such company. After studying and re-reading it for like the nth time, I find it disadvantageous to the nurse. Not really surprising. Remember that all agencies will milk an RN as much money as they could possibly get away with without making it clearly apparent to the nurse.
Have you been given the contract yet? I have the impression you have not but have been impressed by the talk given by the officers of the company.
My advice to you is to read the contract well, consult with family and friends and most of all, consult a lawyer for any doubts. In my case, I did not accept it. Its just too one sided for comfort.

If you have the money to finance your NCLEX, I advice you not to accept any agency... it would be beneficial for you since retrogression is still here. You can still apply in other countries while waiting for US without the bond contract from the agency.. Anyway, there are a lot of hospitals offering direct employment in the US once you're an NCLEX passer... Just search through the net...

Goodluck and Godbless
Hope that helps...

Good day!
I did attend the orientation last Monday, around 2pm.. So, what are your plans?
I came up with lots of inquiries that i wasn't able to ask when they were there. I read the contract well and when I tried to call them, they told me they will be heading back to US..
So, i guess if it's true that theywill be coming back here every month, if I'll be interested, thats the time that I can talk to them again.. If and only if I cab be sure of the company.

Re: United Staffing Solutions Inc.

hello nursesaimhigh, I also came up with lots of questions regarding their contract so I came back and made an appointment. They have answered all my inquiries and they will be sending me a new contract. I still have one month to think about it since they will be coming here every month.

Hi!

Is this agency also known as the USSInurses? The one who's based in Culver City, California? If that is the one, how was your application guys? Did you sign up with them? If you did, hopefully we could share opinions and comments, good and not so good. I have several questions to ask regarding the progress of your application, that is, if you signed up with them.

We are not going to discuss agencies here, there is already much written on them and you just need to do a search.

With the retrogression in place, you are looking at five years plus for a chance at a green card. And if you cancel a contract to go and do something else, you are going to be hit with a large cancellation fee in the tune of $8000 US plus.

Please take the time to thoroughly check out any agency before signing.
