Would suggest plenty of reading on here as there are plenty of info about working in the US would suggest starting with the sticky
Primer to working in the US and you do not need at present to take local board if you are looking to working in the US.
At the moment it will be very hard for you to get a work permit for working in the UK and you will have to jump through a lot of hoops with the NMC (UK nusing governing body) before you get a licence to work as a RN but this will not guarantee a job or work permit. For the UK you may need local license but this is something you will have to check out with them.
www.nmc-uk.org For immigration to either US or UK your training must be RN and there are no temp work permits. You need to decide on where you want to live, US will be easier as I said very hard now to get a work permit for the UK plus the job situation in the UK is going through some difficulties
