Hi! Glad I've found this thread. I'm also awaiting for the lifting up of retrogression... anyways, i have also this SRC.... numbers...

PD is March 19, 2007
Approved- Sept. 10, 2007

I asked my lawyer how's it going and she says they will continue on my filing once the retro is lifted up. I'm waiting and hoping for some good news this 2008...

Thanks for reporting this. You just confirmed that Texas has really been taking 6 mos. in 2007.

FYI for everyone else reading: The next step would already be out of Texas SC. An approved I-140 is automatically forwarded to the National Visa Center if under consular processing. Once retrogression is lifted, NVC will send your lawyer the Visa Fee Bill and after paying for it, you will then be sent the DS-230 form (Visa Application form - Biographics).
An applicant should have their own NVC case #. For Manila US Embassy bound cases, the case number starts with MNL-xxx; Mumbai Consulates - BMB-xxx, etc..

An applicant can ask for their own NVC case number by e-mailing NVC and just providing your USCIS case #. All succeeding e-mail inquiries to NVC for their case status should have the NVC case # on the e-mail subject heading or they won't be able to find your file the fastest way.

Texas SC is fortunately predictably still 6 mos. or so. Good chance your I-140 will be reviewed on Jan. 2008.

in my case, PD - Jun 25 2007, still waiting as well, I will give it few more weeks due to the holiday season, so, am hopeful something comes up by mid January 2008...

just an update though on my previous post. I-140 approved on Jan. 5, 2008 - I am then officially included in the list of those affected with Retrogression.

Just updating the processing dates for Texas Sc.

As of this writing it is June 21, 2007 for I-140 Schedule A and
May 24, 2007 for I-485 Employment-based.

Dates are constantly updated. An unapproved I-140 will not have their I-485 processed and a denied I-140 will have their I-485 cancelled as well. A cancelled I-485 will result in a cancelled EAD. A processed I-485 if the I-140 was approved will not result in a GC if there are no visas available.

Iam please to inform you all that my i-140 has been approved this month although my case was at Texas center but it took almost 11 month.good luck to all who are waiting for their approval.
