Sorry, but that doesn't exist. Each state has its own issues and requirements that you will need to deal with. A license to practice in the US does not give you the right to practice without the visa that permits you to work. And that is what you also need to deal with.

Please read the stickies at the top of the International Forum for more answers.

Sounds like New Mexico is the fastest, <2 months mostly. They also issue a license without a social security number.

It really depends where you want to work, as you'll have to fulfil their requirements eventually anyhow. But just to write NCLEX fastest, I might go with New Mexico.

Re: ???state will i apply my NCLEX???

f i apply for new mexico or vermont, eithr ways and have my license there either, does that mean i have to work in that certain state before applying for reciprocity??? nor is there a need to work in that state????
and how long does reciprocity takes?
an immigration lawyer says 3 mos, how true????
thanks nurses....

Re: ???state will i apply my NCLEX???

No such thing as reciprocity. What you would want to do is ENDORSE to the state where you want to work. Goto http://www.ncsbn.org/regulation/boar...sing_board.asp and go to state where you want to endorse and follow the instruction and requirement under Application for Licensure by Endorsement. You don't need to work in the state where you got your original license from.
