Just want to clarify a few things. You won't be receiving an ATT from Pearson-Vue if you have not registered with them yet, it's not an automatic thing. They won't give you the ATT as well even if you registered to them (w/c you can do but not recommended) if they have not received anything from NY as well.
So, you really have to wait for NYSED for the eligibility letter. They will also furnish one to Pearson-Vue automatically and when Pearson-Vue has that on their database that is only the time Pearson-Vue can send your actual ATT form.
As for how long NYSED takes, there seems to be no definite time-line. Some have been quite reasonably fast, some quite long. It would be advisable if you contact NYSED and try and follow-up on it. Seems to be depending on their current job load. Good luck.
