Anyone, who can refer me to an angency or sponsor that can help me to get a working permit.

Re: sponshorhip here in los angeles

I started looking in the internet after passing the nclex this may. just search for hospitals where you think can be accessible to you then get their contact number and call them and look for the nurse recruiter in the HR department. honestly you dont need a agency because there are a lot of hospitals who would sponsor foreign grads. just look for the nurse recruiter and if by chance shes not available (which often would be the case) becasuse their really busy, just leave your contact details. they usually return the call. Do you have your I 94 with you?

You are really in a bad place, especially if you are not taking the NCLEX until August. It iwll take you another few weeks to see if you even passed. Any of the decent hospitals will not do a thing until you have passed NCLEX.

Sorry, but big mistake on coming over here if you have not taken the exam already, or plan to take it as soon as you arrive. What ever yo do, and what ever someone else tells you, DO NOT APPLY for an extension of that tourist visa. They are not being granted, and you will have to leave the US when it is denied. They are only being extended if you have a very good reason, and to stay here to work, is not going to cut it.
