Job Issues - RN BSN required positions

Help Pleaseeee! does anyone know of RN BSN required job openings? Preferably in the the state of Georgia, USA. I need this job position in order to obtain my VISA and be able to visit my family, which i have not seen in more that 5yrs in my home country. It is very frustrated to leave thousands of miles from your family without been able to see them. I will appreciate any ideas. you may use the private messaging system.

Re: RN BSN required positions

County and state Departments of Health generally require a BSN for many of their public health nursing positions. Major medical centers often require those in supervisory roles to have a minimum of a BSN.

I am a little puzzled by your statement that you need such a position to get a visa and to be able to visit your family. You do need a visa to enter this country, if your are not a citizen or registered legal alien. But why can you not visit your family in your own country? Just where are you living and working now?

Re: RN BSN required positions

What you are looking for is a way to get the H1-B visa and that is no longer available for nurses, even with those that have BSNs. Most jobs in the US are at the bedside and H1-B visas are not available for that.

Unless you have significant experience in teaching, or something similar, it will be hard to find anything to get you over here now; especially with the retrogression in place and the fact that you do not have any experience in this country. Not one visa for the US that will permit working will be instant.

Maybe its time for your relatives to pay a visit to their home country, that may be the easier way in most cases. There is a retrogression in place right now in the US, so every visa for anything is being checked over with a fine tooth comb at this time.
