Re: Questions for Suzanne4

thanks suzanne for your response.

the agency stated on their site thay they offer "free immigration petition fees" and free immigration lawyer fees among other things.

and what does these numbers and letters mean in my form sent from USCIS? Section: Skilled Worker or Professional,Sec.203 (b) (3) (A) (i) or (ii)
what is my category here and my chances for a visa?

another question, if i have to change agency now, will it affect my current approved petition already in NVC and do i have to start all over again the immigration petition process?

thanks again suzanne and have a nice day.

Re: Questions for Suzanne4

Hi suzanne, it's me again (edh66), i checked my case today with NVC using my receipt number from USCIS and I was told that there was "NO record" found. I then checked with USCIS through their on-line services using the same receipt number and this is what my current status states: "last written notice was returned as undeliverable by the post office on May 12, 2005".

What is this "notice" that's supposed to be delivered and to whom? It can't be the fee bill because it should come from NVC, right? And if USCIS said that they have sent all approved petition to the NVC, how come NVC has no record of me?

These processes are all quiet confusing to me and what makes it worse is I don't seem to have a clear answer to everything that's going through my mind. I felt like giving up. I hope you will help me understand.

regards,
beth

First, those fees are not free, they will be taken out of your pay. There is absolutely no such thing as a free green card.

Applications are employer specific, you will start over again, but they already have information on you, so the time is usually faster. If you are having second thoughts already, then do not continue on with that contract.

The best advice that I can give you is to contact the attorney that was handling your petition. Something is quite fishy if it is taking this amount of time.

hi beth. When i read your post regarding your case. i called up my friend whom I believe also signed w/ the same agency. The agency told her that she is already on packet 2 but when I checked her status for her in the USCIS website this is what is said i: July 16, 2006. we received your response to our request for evidence or information. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates.

She signed Jan. 2006 and her file was filed March 28, 2006

It hasn't even been approved yet from the USCIS.

Re: Questions for Suzanne4

Hope nurses under this agency complain to the proper authorities. Not just the POEA. All agencies here in the Philippines are "accredited" by the POEA but if no one complains then nothing can be done and this kind of agencies will just keep proliferating and fluorishing. I think you can complain w/ the US Embassy here as well if the agency is based in the US.

Re: Questions for Suzanne4

Dear Suzanne4

I have a question. A recruiter is asking photocopies of my RN credentials (diploma, visascreen, proof of passing nclex, etc.). I haven't done any interview yet and am still considering. I had no idea that petitions can be filed with photocopies. My question is, can someone petition RN just by submitting photocopies of credentials even if no contract has been signed yet?
