I truly need your help to prepare for this exams & get success.
The review can take you anywhere form three days to one month or more. Depends on how quickly that you can get thru the book, following exactly what is posted on the NCLEX Forum, the rest of the program takes a full six weeks. I would not even consider thinking about a retake date at this point. Get thru the first tip and then contact me again.

Thanks again.
Haven't seen anything that this has gone into effect yet. It is currently available for some other areas, but not nurses, but soon will be. You will need to just check some of the immigration websites.

The fee for this program is $1000 extra.

You know, like work for charity? (like American red cross or something like that?) I guess what i mean to ask is if the restriction is against paid work only?

Question 2:
Does starting the Visascreen process while in the country of origin (before leaving for the US) put any hope of eventually adjusting one's status (AOS, obeying the rules) in the US in jeopardy? I mean, when you enter immigration at the port of entry, theyll ask you if you intend to immigrate right? Can they access your Visascreen application? If they can, will they deny you entry on the grounds that the Visascreen thing is understood to be intent to immigrate? I might not have intent to immigrate right now but i dont want to abandon that option later while Im in the US..

Thanks a lot...and im looking forward to your reply to my other query too posted earlier in this thread...
As far as volunteering, I would check with an immigration attorney with that. Most require a special visa if you are going to be doing it more than a few weeks.

I know of nurses that had the VSC and travelled back and forth to the US without any problems.

It is ollegal to perform any type of work until you receive the EAD. You can do nothing until you get permsiion to work. The filing of the petition is just that, it needs approval first. You will be in the US on average about 5 months without work, of any type.

Unhappy Re: Questions for Suzanne4

Hello Suzanne

unfortunately, I have to tell you that just one day ago CGFNS sent me an e-mail where they state that my Paris CGFNS Exam location is closed for july 12, and they re-scheduled me to september 20, what dissappointed me is that they are telling me this (a little) Important information just 3 weeks before the exam, my air tickets and hotels are paid, and even they do not give me option to a change of location maybe because they are realizing too late that Paris will be closed in spite of I have called CGFNS two weeks ago and asked the exact exam site address because in their web page they were affirming that Paris location in fact will go on
Please could anyone tell me , what are the CGFNS Exam locations that never close or postpone the exams, because its too hard to assume that I am not taking the exam after having studied too much

Im trying to remain optimist but.....

Re: Questions for Suzanne4

Contact them and find out if any centers have openings.

That is the best that I can offer. Sorry, but this does happen.

Re: Questions for Suzanne4

hi suzanne, good day!

i'm really interested in your suggestion to apply for initial licensure in NY first then do the endorsement to preferred state =)

anyhoo, i have a couple of questions to ask:

1.) is there reciprocity between NY and CA?

2.) is it ok if i mail my application to the CVS, NY BON, and visa screen simultaneously? or is there an order for mailing the three forms?

3.) in the NY application form, what do i check under the citizenship/immigration status? (i'm a foreign grad (phils) and i haven't applied for immigration yet)

4.) i just got my license and i don't have any work experience, is it ok if i just put "0" in the no. of years experience in the preliminary information?

thank you very much! you've been a great help =)

Re: Questions for Suzanne4

Thanks Suzanne

one more question, now I am supposed to be scheduled to september 20 CGFNS exam, but In addition to the late closed center advice in their Web page the CGFNS states that September 20 exam is an special examination date and only a few US and Intenational centers are open, and Paris where they are telling me I will take september 20 exam doesnt appears on the list, Am I misunderstanding the information, because this is really confusing
