Definitely, she needs visascreen certificate as well as Toefl. She can give the latest Toefl-IBT so she doesnt have to go via TSE and TWE. I dun think she needs CGFNS exam though. Just my 2 cents...
TOEFL IBT essentially contains all three sections in one exam, the TSE, TWE, and TOEFL all together.

The same form that was included in the Visa Screen applicaton packet, that requests verification form where you are licensed.

And yes, there is a fee for NY to complete it. You will need to check with them for the exact fee.

Immigration lawyer

Hi Suzanne
You have talked about an immigration lawyer in california you recommended (no name though) and I was wondering if you could give me the contact information?

I have contacted a hospital that might be able to petition me for a green card (they want me to pay and then reimburse me when I come over) but they want a timeline on how long it could take. Do you think 8-12 months is reasonable? I´m done with NCLEX and my visascreen is only missing the result from IELTS.

Thank you
Anna

You should be able to be over here within a one year timeframe. That is with current data.

There are actually some new perks coming into play that will give you approval in just about 14 days for an additional cost of about $1000 US. It has not gone inot effect to the best of my memory as of yet, but should be soon for nurses. That can actually save you months and get you here much quicker. Definitely worth the money in your case.

Re: Questions for Suzanne4

hi Suzanne, got a question for you, if an nurse is certified by CGFNS and then applies for Visa Screen, is he/she required to get her nursing trancripts and license infromation sent again from home country? or will CGFNS refer to the transcripts that they received earlier for the purpose of qualifying for CP exam?

She needs a Visa Screen Certificate, she does not need the CGFNS exam.

Remember that having a nursing license doesn't give permission on its own for the nurse to work, you must have legal permission to do so from immigration, if the nurse is not a US passport holder.
