hi,,I just wanna know first wat are the procedures for visa screening and requirements?and if ever retrogression is over, and I will be able to work in US,how long if I will going to petition my mother, even if its only tourist visas..there are two reasons why I studied nursing 1st:to help my family and get there to US to earn for them,.2nd:It's my mother's greatest dream to be there,because most of her friends are in the US..I want to fulfill her dreams..

It will be easy for me to get there if I my ex boyfriend (us citizen)is my husband now,,but things not happened like that,,we broke up and I end up with my 3yrs bf  who happened to be my husband now..Now I will going to pursue my dreams all by my self..

Unfortunately, you can't. Parents are not included in the employment-based petition. Only spouses and their children can be included.

You can however petition them via family-based petition once you are an immigrant and much faster if a US Citizen already.

Sorry to hear about that. But anyway, you can only petition your mother if you are a US Citizen. Immigrants cannot petition their parents.

You are going to need to be in the US on a green card for at least five years in order to be able to get citizenship and then petition your mother.

Petitioning of your mother for permanent residency does not get her a tourist visa, one has nothing to do with the other.

Your thread title says "petitioning my mother thru employment visa" and we answered that. It is not possible.

A tourist visa is not applied by anyone else or petitioned by someone else. Your mother would have to apply for it on her own. A tourist visa is a tourist visa, it is used to visit. That is it. You being in the US would not make it any easier or any harder for her to be approved of one. Being approved or denied a US tourist visa is entirely up to the consul who will interview her in the embassy and being approved for one lies solely on her able to demonstrate if she will be returning back after her visit. She can apply for one now if she wants to as well. Just like what Suzanne have said, one has nothing to do with the other.

She can apply for a tourist visa now or later on when you are already in the US to visit you, then once you are eligible to petition her for a GC already, you can do so thru family-based petition.
