When I received the e-mail from my lawyer I e-mailed her back. I asked her if she included the pictures, xerox of passport, nbi.... She told me" no, the nvc specifically said to not send any other documents than the DS-230s.
So, I just hope that really is all that the NVC is asking.

ok. i hope so too. my lawyer sent me the letter itself. it said there i should download the ds-230 and read further instructions on the website. on the website..it said what i needed to send along with the ds-230. that's where i saw the 2x2 photos i had to attach to the documents. previously, i never had to send photos.

anyway, you should believe your lawyer. he's/she's the expert on this kind of thing. :-)

I was asked to send ds230 2 x photos photocopy of passport birth certs and marriage certs along with police clearance. My case was complete on Apr18 and i am still waiting for it to be forwarded to London. I have been told i will get my original docs back when i attend embassy interview

Hi neneng, try caling NVC automated response and see if your case is complete one week after they receive it. If it says it is complete then you don' have to worry about other docs but most of us were asked to submit nbi(although my the nbi I submitted last year will not expire until June 2008) I was still asked to send a new one, pictures, xerox of passport(same passport I submitted last year) and the DS230. I was not asked to submit another birth certificate. That is why I was wondering why you were asked for a DS230 only.

hi ..My lawyer emailed me last may 5 and told me they already received the request from NVC and submitted what was required .I submitted all complete docs (ds230.certs.nbi police and 2x2 pict ).But until today NVC automated response still says incomplete docs.Why is that so?Do you think we can still make it...have visa allocations??so worried about the july retro again......not again...Hope we can make it this time..

Hi ,... I am hoping that it will be completed in a weeks time. And if not and there will be some lacking docs then, I guess I dont have any choice but to wait again for another review.tsk..tsk..BTW, all my docs was already with my lawyers legal assistant.

Getting complete is one thing, i have been waiting 5 weeks to get mine forwarded PD Jun 05. I still hope to get an interview date before July but i think it will be touch and go

Hi neneng! how are u? i just called the NVC and the documents they were asking were already received. I have to wait for 6-8 weeks for further instructions.. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
