i emailed NVC last May 1 and after 2 weeks they responded and told me that my case is currently under administrative processing. The NVC will send further instructions once this processing is completed.

what does it mean?
anyone can reply. thanxs a lot!

Hello, I sent my updated documents last week of April, NVC received it May 6, they reviewed it for a week. Today, I checked with NVC again, the voice prompt says, there's a missing document again..and another letter was sent out to my lawyer dated May 12. I wonder what's the document that is missing. Im thinking it might be the NBI clearance. I told my agency ahead of time that the NVC maybe asking for the NBI clearance instead of the police clearance...but they said that NVC is asking for an updated police clearance, and so that's what I gave them. Now, Im a bit disappointed because I might not have enough time to be scheduled for an interview since priority dates will retrogress again come July.

And so I want to save time...can I call NVC call center and ask them what's the missing document so I can prepare for it? What are the information they will ask from me when I call?

One more question, if numbers will retrogress in July and if ever it becomes current again in October...do we still have to send updated documents again? Im getting tired of this...really. There's no problem with the waiting..it's just that we have to send updated documents every time. I have to spend P1000-P2000 every time I do this. It's my third time to send these documents and probably the fourth time in October.

How long does it take for a letter from the NVC to get to the lawyer in the USA? The precious few days lost to this back and forth process means your visa is being given to somebody else whose PD is ahead of you but has completed documents.

Let's just be thankful our pd is current. let's take it the positive way, just as what I've read from the other forum, what is waiting for another 3 or 4 months when we have waited this far. I do not expect for now but I hope we could get through this, my nclex will expire by december, anyone who knows what to do in order to ask for extension? Whom will I address the letter? hi dewko...I sent a letter to the CA BON last April regarding extension of NCLEX validity and just today I received a letter from them that they are extending validity for one year.Address the letter to Miss Liza Chan.
