maybe there's something wrong with your case. Bolog ( a hammond blogger) his PD is current this month(May) and he was happy to inform all the bloggers that he now has an interview date this coming july. only 2 months from he time his PD is current.

I saw her post too. His interview date is June 4 I think. The difference though is that before dates retrogressed case were already forwarded at the Phil consulate.
They are probably scheduling first those cases that were already at the consulate thats why its taking time for Phil consulate to move forward with the interviews since they were backlogged last year due to some interviews that were cancelled. I think they are still picking up from the debris last year.

Sorry, but no country gets preference over visa numbers.
And then the most important question would be why there are still waiting three years later in the first place? Means only one thing, there were issues with their paperwork, their employer, or their agency; or they would have been in the US long ago.
But you also need to remember that just because someone gets an interview it does not automatically state that they will be able to get a visa, they can still get denied at that time.

Thanks Guys...
Yes, i read some of bolog's post on hammond blog, maybe his case was already at the embassy when retrogression strike last year or maybe his already documentarily qualified since last year and he updated his documents on time. I think the embassy prioritize those cases that they have on their office since last year, and i think were very close...
When NVC recieve your updated documents, it takes about 2 weeks or less to review the documents before they declare that your case is documentarily qualified, and another 6 to 8 weeks [approx. 2 months] before they schedule your consular interview.
Lets just pray that the next coming visa bulletin will move forward and not backwards...

NVC state that once case complete they will forward to consulate within 8 weeks and once it gets to consulate then you are scheduled for interview. my case has been complete 3 weeks and we have not yet been forwarded

Another Hammond blogger, Mharz, already has an interview date at the US Embassy on June 3. She mentioned that last 2006, she and her hubby already had an interview date but they were unable to have it because she gave birth the day before the day of the interview. This may indicate that the Manila US embassy is rescheduling cases with current PDs that were already with them when Retrogression struck last November 2006.
In Bolog's(PD is Nov 05) and Mharz's(PD is Oct 05) cases, they were not able to go to the US not because there was something wrong with their cases but because the 50,000 visas for Sched A ran out and they were caught by the Retrogression.
I also got from Bolog that the embassy website encoded his interview date on May 15 or 16 a few days after the May VB was posted and that he received his Pak4(Appointment letter) 2 weeks before his PD officially got current(May1). This means the embassy issued him his appointment letter when the May 08 VB came out.
I bet interview dates will start to come out of the US Embassy's website one or two days after the June 08 VB will be posted.

To dotPH,
Did you try to contact the NVC? I have read on other forum Pd of dec2004, case completed March 31, 2008. Emailed NVC last week and got response today that he is scheduled for interview June 24. Yours was completed March 18 right? I suggest you contact the NVC, you might have an interview schedule. There's no harm in trying. Good luck!

My case manager called me a while ago, and she said that she was informed by my lawyer that i have my appointment date [June 24]. At last!
7 weeks and 3 days since my case is closed, finally!
