hello i am new here.. i have a question.. my friend has taken her nclex last april 11 in hongkong for califonia boards.until now she hasn't receive the results.. she resides in the philippines..is it true that she failed is she do not receive the results early? how long does it take for califonia boerds release reults? but i also have a classmate who took the exam aptil 24 after 2weeks she received the results she also failed..

I ve some RN and they said that whatever the results is, the taker will get the result after a day or two.. there must have some technical problem occured. u should send ur complains in their website. MABUHAY! GOODLUCK.. =)

probably there's some problem.. it's 5 weeks already.. there should be a result..thanks anyway..

I got my results more than a month's time and I still passed the exam. I think there's no indication that she passed or failed in the exam. Sometimes with our inefficient postal service here in the Philippines it's normal for delays to occur. I know the waiting time is not a pleasant experience. I think your friend can wait a few weeks more. Goodluck on the results...

Sorry, but results are based on the state that the exam was written for. California does not have early results, and actually does not issue a license until the nurse has a SSN#. The only way to get results from them is via snail mail and that takes about four weeks. They do not even mail the letter out until about 2 1/2 weeks.

And there is no one to complain to for CA as there is no license issued. Suggest that you do some reading here.

And thread moved to the International Forum as it is not specific to those from the Philippines. All foreign nurses are under the same requirement.

My friend also had the same problem. She wrote at California board from Bangalore.. No results for one month. The agnecy said result not published.. She was worried as others were telling the result can be known from net within two days. Finally result came at the 5th week and she passed!
