hi every one..
i just failed my nursing program , it was my last semister(2year program.)
im in ny, i already heard in ny, nursing student who already finished 1year of their program,, can't take NCLEX-PN exam..since 2006.
i also heard from my school..
but i have guestion..is there any way i can take nclex-pn exam in other state? like NJ OR CT.. it was hard to find info..
and one more thing.. i tried to transfer to 4yr college of nursing. but most of them they didn't allow me..because i already fail nursing program..
so what should i do...
i really can't go back to another 2year college to get in to nursing program.
because i am international student(f-1 with i-20), so i already stayed so long time as 2year college student.. so i have to move on next level of college..
so i was,, thinking...
if i can take nclex-pn exam..(i failed at last seminster)..
in any other state near ny(i know i cann't take in ny)
or..
is there any college or institute for LPN where they can keep my f-1 status..

please...help me.
failure..in nursing program for me..
it is not only just failure but also..im afraied to lose my status..
please~~~~help me!

It is going to be very difficult for you to get into another program at this time, and getting the LPN is not going to keep you in status for the F-1 visa that you are currently on.

The LPN license does not qualify you for any visa to remain in the US and work here. And if not currently enrolled in a nursing program, then the visa that you are on is going to become null and void. You only have 60 days after you have completed your classes to remain in the US with the visa that you have.

And the visa that you are under was sponsored by the school that you were attending as well.

With the increased number of students applying for nursing school and only limited spots, it is going to be quite difficult for you to remain in a program at this time. And it is going to be quite difficult to get into a program that starts soon for you to keep your status.
