Question - Fresh BSN graduate: Can i take NCLEX-RN exam without taking our LOcal licensure exam?

I'm a graduating NUrsing student here in Manila, Philippines this Coming March2008. I 've been told by my uncle from canada that they might get me soon to work there before JUNE ENDS unfortunately, our local licensure examination might be move this November 2008 instead of JUNE(usual date). Me and my family don't want to wait for eight months to have that licensure exam here and in addition,if ever i passed it i won't be able to work here since my uncle/auntie are willing to support me to get either to US or Canada. i know this is hard. Experience may be the problem. i just want to know if i could go straight for NCLEX-RN examination even if i would not take my local board exam here. i hope you could help me know the info's. I'm willing to be trained and focus my review for NLCEX.. Thanks and Godbless..
