Re: FL Hospital willing to petition nurse's whole family

When I worked there, Coral Gables Hospital, part of Tenet Health, had quite a few folks from The Philipines. Tenet also has Hialeah Hospital, Palmetto Hospital and Northside Hospital. The oncology inpatient unit at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center here at UM have (had) quite a few on both day and night shift when I was there, and they just lost quite a few of their day shift folks, (they all moved to Texas and within a few blocks of each other). Try those 2 places: www.miami.edu and www.Tenethealth.com. As far as the VA, I know you have to have a back ground check in all these places but if you check www.vacareers.com that should be a good place to start. Then you have www.baptisthealth.com . We also have Jacson Memorial Hospital, part of The Public Health Trust. We have Mount Sinai Medical Center, we have Miami Heart in Miami Beach and various other smaller community facilities but those are the big ones. I hope that was helpful and gave you a place to start.

Re: FL Hospital willing to petition nurse's whole family

Some hospitals will and some won't petition family members. What we are seeing with retrogression is less hospitals at the moment petitioning foreign nurses as no idea how long it will take to get the nurse out there. Sometimes it is a case of ringing the hospitals in the area you want to live and ask them

The VA system no longer petitions, they are unable to hire you if you do not have a green card at least already.

Almost all will petition for spouses and children, but the nurse needs to pay the fees for them.

You are going to find it difficult at this time because of the retrogression.

Just because a facility has petitioned in the past, does not mean that they are willing to do it now.
