EAD filing

Hi Suzanne,

My I140 & I485 was filed in June 06, but didn't file for work permit along with I140 & I485, I am on my current opt until Feb. 07, is it advisable to get EAD in the light of retrogression? Also I just got my visa screen certificate from cgfns, should we send that to uscis or wait for their request? thanks/mps

Talk to your attorney since they have the specifics on your file. My personal thought would be to go for the EAD as no one knows what will be happening and when, this will give you at least an extra six months by getting it.
