Smile Confused...

Good day!!

I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and currently working for 6mos. I passed both the NCLEX and the IELTS. But i am confused on what to do next due to retrogression. I've heard that it is possible for nurses who applied for immigrant visas to acquire them on 2011 due to retrogression. Is that possible? I am not currently connected to any agency because of that fear.

My husband is already in the states not as nurse but a green card holder already. He's waiting for his citizenship before he will file a petition for me. He was still 2years and 2 months in the states.

California BON required me to submit an SSN, if i cannot comply it within 3 years my exam will be considered abandoned. Will i take the exam again? Please help me... Thank you so much.

Please give some advice on what to do, either to wait for my husband's petition or is it better to be connected with an agency.

Your website is very helpful for us nurses...

No one knows how long retrogression will last but currently they are processing 2002. I suggest a read on this forum as questions about SSN and CA has been answered several times. If you use the search facility and keywords ie SSN threads should come up for you to read. You do not have to be connected to agency can be done direct but a lot of hospitals are delaying with foreign nurses due to the delay of retrogression
