I am thinking of going to a staff development job in a skiiled Nursing Home in WV and wondering about the pay. I work at a Hospital now put want to change and do more teaching. I have been teaching BLS and ACLS and acting as a preceptor at my current job. I have a AD in nursing because of this I have been over looked for many jobs at my hospital. I making about 59-60,000 this year because I am working nights an have worked here 20 years plus. Can long term care or skilled home match my pay. I want to be more independent and work days. I this point not really interested in going back to school am am 51 years old and want to enjoy my time off?

Thanks for input David
