sunburn like sensation

A few days ago, my mom started having severe body pains, especially in her hips and then yesterday, the pain went away but now she has a sunburn like feeling on her abd but has not been in the sun.

She read somewhere that it can be a symptom of MS.

Has anyone heard of this and does anyone have any info????

Please help!!!!!

She is in the process of getting health insurance, b/c she just moved back home after living in the USA.

Best to see a doctor - it could be anything up to and including shingles.
