New Neuro Nurse here!

Hi all,

I am a new grad/newly licensed Practical Nurse in Ohio. I was hired to start work in the Neurology/Neurosurgery floor of a hospital in a few weeks. I have always been interested in the Neuro field (I even wrote a paper on Creutzfeldt-Jakob's in Nursing school!) and am looking forward to starting work in my new unit. With that being said, I am still very nervous about my new job. Could you name some diseases/drugs are frequently seen in this type of unit so that I can look them over & intimately familiarize myself with them!

Thank you much!
Jill
