I am looking for advice regarding job functions in an epilepsy monitoring unit. Who often do you perform vitals, I&O, etc since patients are typically scheduled and low acuity. Do you also do grids and strips patient? Do they come directly to the EMU after or to the ICU for monitoring overnight? I am curious since the Grid patients have had a craniotomy performed for placement of grids and strips.
