Dilated pupils after seizure activity

Has anyone ever seen a patient with dilated and fixed pupils after first time tonic clonic seizure activity? This is a peds pt with underlying cardiac issues that seized for aprox.2-5 min. CT x2 were wnl. The patient had been extremely sleepy but responsive, squirming in bed but settled w/o intervention, none verbal for aprox 6-12 hr prior to the event with very minimal sedation( like a one time dose 12 hrs prior). Other symptoms sudden onset low grade temp of 38.2, diarrhea, vomiting, WBC -wnl(pt slightly neutropenic). That is all the info. I can think of but this can out of no where pt was stable prior to this unexpected event. Neuro didn't seem overly concerned but I have never seen this happen before. Thanks for any thoughts on this case.

Re: Dilated pupils after seizure activity

The patient had a stroke (multiple) related to his underlying condition. The outlook is pretty grim.
