Carotid Stenting Protocols or Plan of Care

Does anyone have carotid stenting protocols or plan of cares? or do you know where I could find one?

I've not seen a 'protocol' per-se, but i beleive one of the docs doing them here has a routine post-procedure order-set that he uses...i'll try and track one down...

but the 'gist' of these orders centers around 1) standard puncture-site care (post cath) 2) neuro checks, and 3) watching for bradycardia and/or hypotension (1st 24hrs post-procedure occurs fairly often in these patients d/t 'stretching out the carotids'/baro-receptors, etc.)...and is usually remedied by neosynephrine or dopamine(less often).
