I am in a Masters program and currently in a statistics class. Anyways, I am writing a paper on the treatment of patients diagnosed with pneumonia in the ER and the standard of care of giving antibiotic therapy within 4 hours.
I know that is improves patient outcomes with decreased length of stay & etc - However, I am experiencing "writers block" and wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction related to this subject......Especially - info related to the time constraint of giving an antibiotic within 4 hours after arriving in the emergency room.
It has been 15 years since I had a stats class and this is just not coming back to me.......grrrrrr
