I KNOW WHEN I FIRST BECAME A NURSE AND LEARNED CPR (ALSO WAS IN THE ARMY AND LEARNED CPR) I WAS TAUGHT HOW TO POP OUT THE JAW ENCASE OF AN EMERGENCY AND TOLD MY HUSBAND I WANTED TO PRACTICE ON HIM, I WENT ON TO EXPLAIN HOW I COULD POP OUT HIS JAWS TO GIVE MOUTH TO MOUTH AND POP OUT HIS SHOULDER BLADES IF NEED BE.. WELL LET ME TELL YOU HE HAD A HARD TIME SLEEPING FOR A FEW NIGHTS! :-)

I can HEAR the call lights, EKG, vent and the phone all going at the same time even when I'm home. I hope I'm not the only one... or should I check myself in?

You really have to watch-out for me & pens...especially the gel ink ones...simply love them. I'm a sucker for those drug rep pens, trinkets, & gagets...I'm soooo easy to please sometimes... LOL!!!

i wouldn.t worry about it when i was sitting waiting to have a scan (pregnant) a doc went by and his crash bleep (code call) went off i jumped up to answer the code in my really fetching hospital gown until he told me i wasn't actually on dutywhich was a bit of a relief as i couldn't find my pager. or ever actually taken your pager home after a night shift a code calls gone out and u live near enough to get the code dive out of bed and can't think where that ward is located in your house love to u all
