Talking Measure it?

I was in the process of removing a foley catheter from a 32 yr old male patient.
As I knelt over to disconnect the drainage bag from the bed- I was explaining that the doctor still wanted us to keep track of his I/O- so I was providing him with a urinal to measure it. He had a horrific expression on his face- and said, "measure it??! why would he want to measure it?" It took me a few seconds to realize he had misunderstood what we were planning on measuring!
