I received a new pt the other day and after lunch I noticed him sitting in the front lobby. I asked him what he was doing and he said I'm just waiting for my son. Thinking it was no big deal I went back to what I was doing. 30 min later we realized the man was missing. After a thorough search we realized he was no longer at the hospital. Panicking I called his house hoping someone knew of his whereabouts. His 10 year old grandson answered the phone stating his grandfather could not come to the phone because he was taking a nap!
