Re: funny names for nurses

There's a student in our class named Ie (pronounced eye). I've witnessed and been part of several conversations along the lines of:
"Who did this?"
"Ie did."
"Why did you do it that way?!"
"I didn't do it, Ie did."
"That's what I just said!"
"The other student's name is Ie, she's over there!"
"Oh..."

Peter can be a euphemism for a certain part of male anatomy.
This particular name may be real, but there are lots of urban legends floating around about names like this too.

Nurse Killer (I am not kidding).

When I was growing up, my dog's vets were named Dr. Payne (that one popped up a lot) and Dr. Ferrett.

Re: funny names for nurses

Thanx for Harry Peters which i am hearing for the first time to b meaning some part of the males since I have always known names like Dick and Joseph also to mean another part of the male anatomy!! May be even some people refer to it as John or Immanuelle in other parts of the world!! In any case, meanings are in people!!!I hope mine does not mean anyything similar to that anywhere in the world... I would change it immediately!!
