I am writing a "paper" on the dumbest reasons/stories that people show up/come to ER. Would appreciate ANY input ANY of the ER staff out there has for me.........................IF you'd like a copy of the FINAL draft, please let me know and I'll forward it.
Thanks much!
PS. My winning entry so far is a Mom who brought 1 month old infant in at 2:30 AM because "it wouldn't look her in the eye. It doesn't recognize me!"
Not making this up

Reason: Add 1 line
I once did an ambulance ride in training. We picked up a child (5-8 yrs old) AND the entire family. Reason- "he threw up." On questioning, it was 1 time, about 5 hr earlier.
hi all,
tis couple kinda tickles me... they walked into EMD @2am
wife appears to be in slight distress, was crying, hyperventilating and hair was messed up.
Finally, at triage, they told the nurse
"my wif is worried cos our condom broke"
add-on;
a lady came into EMD wif a pack of her old meds "to find out which one is paracetamol"
